Slag scraper is a device used for cleaning soil in tunnels, mines and other engineering projects. There are various types, and the selection should be based on specific working conditions. The following are the main types and selection points:
1、 The main types of scraper
According to the walking style and applicable scenarios, common types include:
-Tire type scraper: It travels flexibly through tires and is suitable for tunnels or mines with small slopes (usually ≤ 15) and relatively flat road surfaces. It is easy to transfer and has strong adaptability to the site.
-Crawler type slag scraper: driven by tracks, with strong grip, it can operate in complex terrains with mud, steep slopes (up to about 25) or unevenness, with good stability, but requires the use of a trailer for transition.
-Rail wheel scraper: travels along the track and is suitable for long-distance, straight tunnels (such as railway tunnels). It travels smoothly but has poor flexibility.
-Small slag scraper: small in size and light in weight, suitable for narrow spaces (such as small section tunnels and underground tunnels), flexible in operation but with low operational efficiency.
-Large scale scraper: with high power and large bucket capacity, suitable for large section tunnels or open-pit mines, with high operating efficiency but high requirements for site size.
2、 Key points for selecting based on operating conditions
1. Size of homework space
-The cross-sectional dimensions (width, height) of the tunnel/roadway determine the size of the slag scraper: a small-sized machine is selected for small sections, and a large-sized machine is selected for large sections.
-Priority should be given to tire type or small track type in narrow spaces, avoiding track type (requiring tracks and poor flexibility).
2. Terrain and slope
-Flat or gentle slope (≤ 15): Tire type is more economical and easy to move.
-Steep slopes (>15) or muddy terrain: The track type has strong grip and better stability.
-Long distance straight line operation: The track wheel is suitable for continuous operation along the track.
